What kind of photo works best?
A clear, bright photo where your pet's face is in focus works best. Natural daylight is ideal. Try to get down to your pet's eye level, keep their whole head in the frame and avoid heavy shadows, filters or blurry action shots. A photo taken on a modern phone is perfect.
Does the background of my photo matter?
Not much. We remove the background automatically, so your pet sits neatly on a soft cream background. It helps if your pet stands out clearly from what's behind them, for example a dark dog on a light floor rather than a dark sofa.
Can I include more than one pet?
At the moment each design features one pet and one name. For more than one pet, you're welcome to order a keepsake for each of them.
Will I see my design before it's made?
Yes. When you upload your photo and add a name, you'll see a live preview on the product page before you add it to your basket. We also check every design by hand before it's printed, and if anything doesn't look right we'll email you first.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Each item is made to order in 2 to 5 working days, then Royal Mail tracked delivery usually takes 3 to 5 working days in the UK. See our Shipping page for full details and Christmas order-by dates.
When do I need to order for Christmas?
For UK delivery before Christmas, please order mugs and gift sets by Monday 7 December; decorations, prints, framed prints and canvases by Monday 30 November; and blankets by Monday 23 November for guaranteed delivery (orders up to 30 November usually still arrive in time). We always recommend ordering early in December.
Can I send it straight to someone as a gift?
Of course. Just enter their name and address as the delivery address at checkout. We don't include prices on the paperwork in the parcel.
What's in the gift set?
The gift set includes a personalised 11oz mug and a matching wooden Christmas decoration (heart or star), both featuring your pet's portrait and name. It's a lovely present for any pet lover.
How do I look after my keepsake?
- Mug: dishwasher and microwave safe. Hand washing will help the print last even longer.
- Canvas and framed print: keep out of strong direct sunlight and damp rooms. Dust with a soft, dry cloth.
- Wooden decoration: wipe gently with a dry cloth. Keep away from water.
- Blanket: machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low, or follow the care label.
Can I return my order?
Because every item is personalised, we can't accept returns if you change your mind. If anything arrives faulty or damaged, tell us within 30 days with a photo and we'll replace it or refund you. See our Returns & Refunds page for details.
